What is Marketplace Ministry
Marketplace Ministry, also known as Workplace Ministry, is a term we use to talk about a life of ministry that takes place through your everyday work.
As followers of Christ, many of us spend every day at work in the marketplace – the world of business, government, education and healthcare – often merely ‘surviving’ through the week, in an attempt not to let the secular world shape us. But the Lord’s will for us is that we impact that world for good, shining and ministering for Him right where we are, day-to-day.
Marketplace ministry is full-time ministry, without changing your career! It’s a change of mind, to see your work as service to the Lord, first. As the Apostle Paul wrote to believers in his letter to Colossians: “Whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord” (Col 3:23).
Worship.Works Marketplace Ministry Career Programme
The Worship.Works Marketplace Ministry Career Programme is a missional, faith-based programme, where you will be placed into a demanding professional role serving multinational corporations, working among like-minded believers on the front lines of Christian ministry. You will join a team of around 30 “Marketplace Ministers” – believers who work as a business team, delivering world-class research and consulting solutions to corporations all over the world – and you will be equipped to serve God in your work through the Worship.Works foundational teaching programme for Marketplace Ministers, which includes Biblical principles, faith-building testimonies, and practical application challenges.

Where will I be based?
Your role will be based in one of two locations in Central Kent or London, in a hybrid office / home model.
What will a typical week look like?
Each day will start with our “pray-up”, a time of corporate prayer and thankfulness covering nations, clients, our team and the day ahead. After pray-up, all team members are engaged in client engagement following our “sales-as-ministry” model.
A typical week will include three or more days in the office with your colleagues; a weekly team meeting and 1:1 with your manager; and may include ministry training and mentoring sessions.
Depending on your role, your day-to-day work may include team-based or individual work on research, analysis, report-writing, preparing or facilitating workshops for clients in global corporations, and team collaboration to innovate and solve challenges in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Each quarter you will take part in a whole-team off-site planning session, to set goals and priorities for the quarter ahead aligned with an overarching vision to transform nations.
