Student Coach – Fixed Term

Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday

Position: Full Time, Fixed Term

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000

Main Responsibilities

Responsibility for one student at all times

  • Coach and mentor a single student towards their EHCP targets, their personal aspirations and the targets agreed together for their personal development.
  • Build a positive and progressive relationship with the student.
  • Support student behaviours by using positive behavioural tools, emotional support and managing the engagement of their student.
  • Full awareness of what the student is doing and pre-empting any potential problems using a dynamic risk assessment.
  • Facilitate students to engage with tutored sessions.
  • Feed information into student plans and timetables.
  • Collect and drop off the student each day at their home as well as transport them, as their timetable requires.
  • Manage student budgets for food, school projects and all adhoc requirements.
