When Daniel and his wife started their first business in 1998, they made a simple but profound decision: God would be part of it all. It wasn’t just about doing business ethically or praying before decisions. It was about something deeper—living out their faith in every task, client meeting, and challenge. That decision would become the seed of something much bigger.
Fast forward to today, and that seed has grown in many directions—one of which is the School of Work-Based Ministry, a new initiative from Worship.Works designed to activate Christians in their everyday work environments. At the center of this mission is a year-long discipleship journey called the Year of Transformation, equipping believers to bring faith and purpose into their Monday-to-Friday
“There’s a growing hunger among God’s people to live fully for Him—not just on Sundays, but in every part of life,” Daniel shares. “And for most people, a big part of life happens at work.”
A Church Alive in the Workplace
Worship.Works has always carried a clear vision: to see the Church alive in the workplace—vibrant, active, and full of hope. For years, they’ve been doing this through speaking engagements, gatherings, online resources, and their Christian Graduate Programme. But as Daniel and the team engaged more deeply with professionals across industries, a need became clear.
Many believers were eager to live missionally at work— but what they needed was clear: tools, theology, and a supportive community.
“We sensed it was time to strengthen this part of our ministry,” Daniel says, “and make it accessible to more people.”
That’s where the School of Work-Based Ministry comes in—not as a replacement for traditional ministry, but as a vital extension of it. It’s an initiative that removes the lines between the sacred and the secular, teaching believers that the Spirit of God moves just as powerfully in boardrooms and break rooms as He does in pulpits and pews. This programme aims to help christian professionals to unlock the power of faith integrated with work.
The Year of Transformation: Walking with God at Work
At the heart of the school is the Year of Transformation, a 12-month discipleship journey that offers far more than teaching. It’s an immersive, interactive experience designed to deepen faith, equip practically, and activate purpose in the context of daily work.
Each month, participants gather online for:
- A live teaching session grounded in scripture
- Mentorship with experienced believers in the marketplace
- A space for shared testimonies and challenges
- And practical assignments to apply what they learn in real-time
“We help people take the truths they know in church and apply them in their workplace,” Daniel says. “Whether that means praying before sending emails or inviting the Holy Spirit into team meetings—it all matters.”
And the result? A shift in mindset and practice.
The programme is delivered online to accommodate global access, with schedules optimised for participants in the UK, Europe, and Africa.
“We want people to test and prove God’s will for them at work (Romans 12:2),” Daniel explains. “This programme is about lived theology—where you don’t just learn a truth, but walk it out and see God’s power unfold.”
A Different Kind of Ministry School
Unlike traditional theological education, the School of Work-Based Ministry isn’t just about knowing more—it’s about living differently. Every biblical principle taught is immediately tied to workplace application.
“We explore how spiritual gifts can function in your role,” Daniel explains. “Or how Paul’s teaching on love in 1 Corinthians 13 can change the way you deal with a difficult colleague or a demanding client.”
This isn’t a program for those who feel called to leave their jobs. Quite the opposite—it’s for those who want to stay in their roles but serve God more fully within them.
“The world needs people who carry hope and light at work,” Daniel shares. “We want believers to see themselves as ministers—not just in church buildings, but in boardrooms, classrooms, and shop floors.”
He explains, “Work relationships become a training ground to love like Jesus. Everyday tasks become the very place where discipleship takes root.”
Who Is This For? (Hint: Probably You)
This isn’t a program for a select few in corner offices or with seminary degrees. It’s for anyone who’s ever sat at their desk, stood behind a counter, or walked into a team meeting thinking, There must be more to this.
It’s for the Christian who senses that work could be worship.
For the believer who’s tired of separating “God time” from “work time.”
For the person who feels a quiet conviction that the Spirit of God wants to move—not just in church, but in every email sent, every decision made, every conversation at the watercooler.
Daniel’s passion is clear: “You don’t have to quit your job to follow your calling,” he says. “God wants to move through you—right where you are.”
He adds, “This school was created for everyday people—because in the Kingdom of God, no calling is ordinary. There’s extraordinary potential in every believer when they recognize their work as worship.”
Whether you’re managing a team or stocking shelves, teaching in a classroom or building in the field—if your heart is longing for greater alignment between what you do and who God made you to be, then this journey is for you.
And you won’t be walking it alone. You’ll be guided, mentored, and equipped alongside others who are asking the same questions and daring to believe that their Monday mornings can become sacred.
“If the idea of seeing God move powerfully through your work excites you,” Daniel says, “then you’re ready.”
And that stirring you feel? That’s not just ambition—it’s an invitation. God is calling you into partnership, right where you are.
A Vision Bigger Than One Person’s Work—It’s About a Mission
From the beginning, this wasn’t just about running a course.
It’s about catalyzing a movement for the Kingdom of God in the marketplace—one that wakes up dormant callings, heals the divide between sacred and secular, and sends believers into every corner of society with clarity, conviction, and courage.
“Our heart is to see the Church fully alive in the workplace,” Daniel shares. “We’ve seen God move through believers in every kind of job—from boardrooms to classrooms, from startups to shops. Wherever His people are, He wants them present, powerful, and prophetic.”
But the vision doesn’t stop at personal transformation.
This is a call to pastors and church leaders who want to see their congregations commissioned for everyday ministry. It’s for CEOs, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers who carry influence in the business world and know that their leadership can shape culture—and eternity.
Daniel believes the Church must no longer treat work as neutral territory. “It’s time,” he says, “to partner with God—not only in our jobs, but in how we disciple others in theirs.”
That’s why the School of Work-Based Ministry and its Year of Transformation programme isn’t just a course—it’s an opportunity for empowering change.

Final Word: Let Your Light Shine
Daniel leaves us with a reminder straight from the words of Jesus:
“You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:14–16
The world doesn’t just need more workers—it needs more worshipers at work.
